Black Diamond Recording Studios is located 15 minutes east of Downtown Portland. We pride ourselves on utilizing cutting-edge technology to help get you the sound you desire. Black Diamond has the space and equipment to record large member groups as well as solo artists. Portland is full of a variety of unique acts and we enjoy the challenge of making sure everyone leaves the studio with a project that matches, and hopefully exceeds their expectations.<\/p>\n
At Black Diamond, we have 24ft. vaulted ceilings in the live room and it measures an astounding 26ft. x 34ft. x24ft. (One of the largest, if not the largest rooms in Portland). We also have three other isolation rooms; two of them are 15ft. x 12ft. x 20ft. with 20ft. vaulted ceilings. The vocal booth is heavily deadened with Auralex 4 inch studio foam. The control room is designed for near field monitoring and is 23ft. x 15ft. x 12ft. We are currently running an Avid HDX System giving us the ability to handle many projects with the highest quality.<\/p>\n
